  • Objectives:
    • Split into groups, the students will be able to put the child labor laws in the correct order of when they occurred.
    • Given the Power Point of how laws get enacted, the students will role-play an attempt to get a law enacted.
    • Given information on child labor still existing today, the students will be able to explain what the laws are today.
    • After looking at a map of the world, the students will be able to explain where child labor is still occurring today.

Overview

This lesson can be completed over the course of three days. The first day the class will be learning about the past child labor laws. The second day they will cover how a law will get enacted and the third day they will be learning about child labor today and if it still exists.
